Education Director

LANEY CLARK is a retired school counselor who has been involved with the Melon Patch since 2008. She has been acting for 30+ years has become a regular mainstage director of musicals in the last half-decade.

During her time as a counselor, Laney started an after-school drama club to encourage social skills among her students. Along with John Turcotte, she helped to co-found the current incarnation of the Melon Patch Youth Porgram, now celebrating her third season in this role.

Laney also currently serves as the President of the Melon Patch Board and was honored as a Lifetime Member in 2017.
